Day four

"It was a really good day, we learned to play a new game and we visited the Wood Museum in Vinuesa, very closed to Salduero", said Belén and Alba. Now they can use words and expression around the topic of the wood such as junipers, beech, oak woodland - here they call it rebollar- pine, imperial eagle, woodpecker... In the museum a girl told them the many pine forests provide an important economic resource for local municipality and the local people who receive part of the benefits from the wood - suerte del pinar - .She also told them about the colour of Laguna Negra and the leyends that refers Antonio Machado in his poem "Las tierras de Alvargonzález".
So thanks to our reporters and we are looking forward to hearing other classmates telling us about the last day in the camp.
Thursday, November 12th.

Day three.

María González reported her experience hiking up Pico del Águila - a natural watchtower- following a narrow path up hill among a forest of oak trees and pines - pino albar-. It was a steep mountain at the buttom, but it had gorgeous views of the villages and a dam in the Duero river at the top. They had a tasty ham sandwich and delicious chocolate covered fruits from Aragón.
Back in the camp they had paella and some meat for lunch. After the ecoproyect workshop, she enjoyed the football match, but she didn't like volley.
Nuclear power station, wild life and wood were some of the new words she could remember and she listened the monitors telling them "don't play football, we mus't go into".

Day two.
África and Nerea told us about Tuesday; it was a really funny day althoug they all were punished because some boys made a lot of noise in the bedroom, as a result they had to write a thirty lines composition.
At eleven they walked to neibourgh village, Molinos de Duero, where they enjoyed games and sports.
They have learned new vocabulary: punish, rubbish and dress up as a penguin.
Tuesday, November 10th.

Daily report. Day 1.

Day 1
Today we are starting a new section about our routines in Salduero, presenting two daily reports by Ramsés, África and Nerea.
Ramsés got up at eight, got dressed and went downstairs to have breakfast in the lunchroom. After that he brushed his teeth and had free time in the playground. in the English class they played a trivial game and watched a video about a country with no water and learned about the cycle of water. Finally he and his mates played a geocatching game with GPS devices.
In his opinion this was a little boring, because he prefers speaking English with the monitors outside and playing football.
After lunch he went to the ecoproyect workshop and started up a political party to help proptecting the planet Earth. At five he participated in a sport tournament, an hor and a half with the teachers and he had a shower before dinner.
He enjoyed the tournament but he didn't like the movie. he learned words like thirst and behaviour and a new instruction: don't kick the basket ball with the feet.
He says that it was a sunny and hot day, but it was cold in the evening.
Monday, November 9th.
